On 18th January 2025, the Funmilayo Florence Babalola (FFB) Foundation proudly launched the HYPE-D Project—our Hypertension and Diabetes Early Detection Initiative—with an impactful health outreach at Mbora-Lifecamp.
This program was a huge success! Over 150 individuals received free sensitization, testing, and screening for diabetes, hypertension, and BMI assessments. We also provided referrals for further medical care and pledged to cover the treatment costs for 25 individuals whose results indicated urgent medical attention.
HYPE-D is just the beginning of our commitment to improving healthcare access in underserved communities and raising awareness about these critical health conditions.
What’s next? We’re excited to announce that the second HYPE-D outreach is already in the works! Stay tuned for updates as we continue this life-changing journey together.
