HYPE-D: Hypertension and Diabetes Early Detection Initiative

HYPE-D Outreach

The beginning of a long term commitment.

On January 18 2025 the Funmilayo Florence Babalola Foundation proudly launched the HYPE-D Project our Hypertension and Diabetes Early Detection Initiative with a powerful health outreach event in the Mbora Lifecamp community.

Interaction

Over 150 individuals received free health education blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and BMI assessments. Participants identified with urgent medical needs were referred for further care and the Foundation pledged to cover treatment costs for 25 individuals requiring immediate medical attention.

HYPE-D represents more than just an event it’s the beginning of a long term commitment to bridging the healthcare gap in underserved communities. By raising awareness and providing proactive care we aim to reduce the devastating effects of hypertension and diabetes before it’s too late.
