Kunle Babs (Adekunle Babalola) is a seasoned journalist, media professional, and social impact advocate with nearly 15 years of experience in video journalism, broadcasting, and storytelling. He holds a BA in English from the University of Ilorin, a Diploma in Filmmaking from the International Academy of Film and Television, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Media Leadership at the University of Cumbria. Driven by a deep passion for health advocacy, Kunle founded the Funmilayo Florence Babalola (FFB) Foundation in honor of his late mother. Through awareness, advocacy, and healthcare support, the foundation is dedicated to combating diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, ensuring that underserved communities have access to early detection, treatment, and preventive healthcare solutions. Beyond his work with FFB, Kunle is committed to leveraging media and storytelling to drive development, inspire change, and advocate for stronger healthcare policies.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), equipping her with the expertise to drive impactful community health initiatives. As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the FFB Foundation, Mary oversees operations management, program coordination, and strategic partnerships, ensuring the effective implementation of the foundation’s mission. Her leadership plays a vital role in expanding outreach, enhancing healthcare access, and strengthening collaborations to create lasting change in the fight against diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

Ajeck is an experienced journalist with over a decade of reporting on critical issues spanning the economy, politics, healthcare, and the environment. She is particularly passionate about telling in-depth stories on Nigeria’s healthcare system – highlighting challenges such as barriers to healthcare access in rural communities, the shortage of healthcare workers, and the broader impacts of climate change on vulnerable populations. Through her storytelling, she also amplifies the effort of individuals driving change through initiatives like recycling, environment advocacy, and community mobilization. Ajeck currently serves as the Communications Manager at the Funmilayo Florence Babalola (FFB) Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to raising awareness and advocating for the early detection of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, particularly among underserved communities.

Watrahyel Mshelia is a Public professional with hands-on experience in public health programming, research, and outreach. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health. Her background includes internships with the Federal Ministry of Health and the Institute of Human Virology, where she contributed to community health education, vaccination drives,community outreach and data collection efforts.
As the programmes assistant of the FFB foundation, I support program implementation, monitoring and planning community outreach activities and assist with communications. Her public health background plays a vital role in planning and implementing programs, creating a bridge between underserved communities and healthcare and raising awareness and advocacy in diabetes and cardiovascular diseases

Ansan Abel is a dedicated video journalist passionate about telling powerful human-interest stories that inform, inspire, and drive change. A graduate of Mass Communication from NTA Television College, Jos, he has freelanced for international broadcasters including China Global Television Network (CGTN), SABC, and DD India, covering development-focused stories across Nigeria. With strong skills in both field production and post-production, Ansan combines creativity with technical expertise to deliver compelling visuals and narratives. His work has shed light on critical issues such as climate justice, health, and governance. He currently serves as the Visual Artist at the Funmilayo Florence Babalola (FFB) Foundation, a nonprofit committed to raising awareness and advocating for the early detection of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, particularly among underserved communities.
